Sheryl Adams is an accomplished Information Technology business leader with a vision for a better future. Sheryl has held high-level decision-making positions in companies such as Hyundai, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors. Sheryl has also held VP positions in the EV charging industry sector, currently, one of the fastest growing industries in the world, and has broad knowledge of innovation in manufacturing, and smart city development. Her unparalleled experience combined with her ability to formulate effective, profitable, and cost-effective solutions has enabled her to manage multiple complex projects, including those with budgets of up to $100M at Ford Motor Company.
Sheryl is an entrepreneur, a former small business owner, and a savvy advisor with extensive experience in dealing with the challenges faced by independent contractors, gig workers, and small business owners in California. As a member and panelist of the U.S. Congressional Smart Cities Caucus, Sheryl collaborates with technology and community leaders to tackle critical issues facing smart cities such as connectivity, mobility, workforce, and sustainability.
In her free time, Sheryl volunteers as an Advisor to CleanTech San Diego, and enjoys the Southern California outdoors by ocean swimming and hiking. Above all, she is a proud adoptive mother of her nephew, now son, Edward and credits her parenthood journey for shaping her character and unwavering faith in God.
